Hi Sami,
I loved this - so fun to learn more about you (even if you did break the rules!). And I love the word "word maker uperer"!! And being a spirit - my favorite answer of all here. Very cool!

Hey Positively Present,
Thanks! I stopped by your site and read your answers to the interview questions. It was very interesting learning more about fellow bloggers and everyone's different perspectives.

Thanks for your feedback. I love the orange too. It was originally black but I had it changed to orange - suits the site much better me thinks. :)

I really enjoyed reading your interview. I did the same one (posted on my site under "who am i? who are you?") and I thought it was a lot of fun! I'm glad I came across your site. It's very positive (and orange -- which is my favorite!). I look forward to reading more posts!

Hey Valeska,
Thanks for your feedback and you're welcome. Yeah, it does make you take stock. I found the "ideal day" question interesting. I was thinking about it and discovered that I actually do one of the parts of my ideal day pretty much every day but I don't often have them all in the one day. Not such a bad thing though. It shows I'm doing something I love every day. I no complain!

Thanks Kirwin. I really enjoyed this exercise so thanks for including me! I totally agree re the seeing animals in the wild thing. When we were living in Canada, occasionally we'd see a black bear or grizzly in the wild. When we did, it always took my breath away. Re the Daisy List, I'm actually working on a doc that helps with putting one together. I'll be posting it soon. Hopefully that will help.

Hi Tim,
Thanks very much. Dad does have great wisdom, actually both my parents do. I'm very lucky to have them. Re the marketing, it sounds like perhaps it's not your gig. If it was, you'd love it, be great at it and companies wouldn't be letting you go. While I know for sure marketing isn't my thing, it has still served me well. It's given me skills I needed for other things and given me opportunities I wouldn't otherwise have had. Having said that, I'm glad to be out of it and doing what I'm doing now. I am far more fulfilled and feel like I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. Transitioning is tough but definitely worth it once you get to the other side. All I can say is be kind to yourself, breathe, identify and be grateful for the great things you have in your life already and just know it'll all work out. It always does. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hi Sami:

You sound like a really interesting person. I really enjoyed hearing the great advice your dad gave you while going through the "D." So true. I feel fortunate that my dad has given me great nuggets of wisdom over the years. As someone who has worked in marketing and has gotten sacked three times in five years, I can identify with his comment about marketing. I, too, feel like I am "in the middle" or in transition.

Anyhow, I enjoy your blog.

I loved reading this! (I'll go add your link, once I'm done here.)

From experience, I can say that seeing animals in the wild (lion, elephant, hyena, zebra,...) is VERY COOL, indeed. I am, afterall, a South African girl who has spent many days at the Kruger Park. I could never, ever get enough of it. I would love to take my kids one day.

I still want to make my own Daisy List...need to get to that!
